放眼全国，汽车4S店作为城市服务业的重要窗口，遍布各大城市核心与郊区。它们不仅是汽车品牌的展示厅，更是保障车主日常出行安全、提供专业维保服务的技术中枢。然而，4S店的维保车间往往面临一个行业共性难题：建筑结构多为高大的彩钢棚或钢结构厂房，虽便于车辆进出，但隔热性能差，且需频繁开启大门通风，导致传统空调难以发挥效用。 在闷热的车间里，维保技工长时间高强度作业，极易导致中暑、疲劳，进而影响维修质量和生产效率。因此，如何为一线技工创造一个相对舒适的工作环境，同时兼顾接待区的客户体验，成为4S店运营者亟待解决的痛点。

Project Background and Challenges

This project is located in Guangzhou, an important city in southern China. Guangzhou is located in the subtropical maritime monsoon climate zone, with long and high temperature and humidity summers, known as the "furnace". The annual average temperature is as high as 22 ℃, and extreme temperatures from July to September often exceed 35 ℃, accompanied by high humidity. Under such climatic conditions, enclosed or semi enclosed spaces are prone to creating a stuffy and unbearable environment, seriously affecting work efficiency and personnel experience.

Looking at the whole country, automobile 4S stores, as important windows of urban service industry, are located in the core and suburbs of major cities. They are not only exhibition halls for car brands, but also technical hubs that ensure the daily safety of car owners and provide professional maintenance services. However, the maintenance workshops of 4S stores often face a common industry problem: the building structures are mostly tall color steel sheds or steel structure factories, which are easy for vehicles to enter and exit, but have poor insulation performance and require frequent opening of doors for ventilation, making it difficult for traditional air conditioning to function effectively. In the hot and humid workshop, maintenance technicians work at high intensity for long periods of time, which can easily lead to heatstroke and fatigue, thereby affecting the quality of maintenance and production efficiency. Therefore, how to create a relatively comfortable working environment for frontline technicians while also taking into account the customer experience in the reception area has become an urgent pain point for 4S store operators to solve.

Ruifeng Solution: Tailored Mobile Centrifugal Air Cooler Layout

The main body of the 4S store is located in a large color steel shed building, with a relatively open environment. Only the customer reception and rest area has been partitioned and finely decorated. In response to this situation, the design team of Ruifeng Environmental Protection Refrigeration went deep into the site and comprehensively considered the climate characteristics of high temperature and high humidity in Guangzhou, the open structure of frequent vehicle entry and exit in the workshop, and the operation mode of maintenance technicians needing to move between different vehicles. Finally, they abandoned the traditional fixed air conditioning scheme and innovatively adopted a "mobile centrifugal air cooler" for overall layout.

The design logic of this plan is based on the following in-depth considerations:

1. Flexible response to mobile workstations: The work area of maintenance technicians is not fixed and may be located at the front, rear, or under the chassis. The mobile model comes with universal wheels that can be pushed to any workstation at any time, achieving precise air supply wherever people go and avoiding the waste of fixed air vents.

2. Principle matching open space: In workshops that require frequent door opening for ventilation, traditional air conditioning cannot maintain air conditioning. And air coolers (also known as environmentally friendly air conditioners or water-cooled fans) use the most natural physical principle of "water evaporation absorbs heat": when hot air passes through a moist curtain, the moisture evaporates and absorbs the heat in the air, thereby sending out cool, moist clean air. This' positive pressure 'air supply not only effectively reduces temperature (usually by 4-10 ℃), but also maintains air circulation and is completely unaffected by opening doors and windows.

3. High air volume improves body sensation: The centrifugal air cooler we have chosen has the characteristics of high air pressure and sufficient air volume. Even in spacious and deep color steel shed workshops, long-distance air supply can be achieved, forming effective air convection, quickly dissipating the heat waves and paint odors emitted by vehicles, allowing maintenance personnel to feel sustained and strong coolness even in hot and humid environments, greatly improving work comfort and safety.
