This place is located in the warm temperate zone of the northern hemisphere, with a temperate monsoon climate characterized by maritime features. There is no severe cold in winter and no extreme heat in summer, with distinct four seasons. It boasts a winding coastline of 2211 kilometers, with mountains and seas interdependent and pleasant scenery. Dalian, as an important port, trade and tourism city in Northeast China, attracts millions of domestic and foreign tourists every year with its romantic coastal roads, scattered squares, and rich tourism resources such as Jinshitan National Tourist Resort. For this tourist city, high-quality hotels are not only a harbor for tourists to relax, but also an important window to showcase the city's service image and cultural connotation. Their hardware facilities and service details directly affect the "retention" of tourists and the tourism reputation of the city.

[Project Background: Comfort Challenge Caused by Space Expansion]

The expansion hall is located inside a well-known hotel in Dalian city. In recent years, with the increasing popularity of the tourism market and the continuous growth of hotel customers, the core functional areas such as indoor banquet halls and conference rooms have approached saturation. To meet the diverse needs of more outdoor weddings, themed banquets, and business parties, the hotel made a decisive decision to build a fixed steel structure landscape greenhouse using an excellent open space in the courtyard.

The structure of the greenhouse is quite ingenious: the main body adopts a stable color steel frame, and the facade is embedded with a large area of transparent glass, which not only ensures sufficient natural lighting, but also introduces the outdoor urban scenery into the interior, achieving an unobstructed visual experience; The top adopts a lightweight soft waterproof fabric canopy, which not only effectively provides shade and rain protection, but also maintains the overall lightness of the building. However, this fully transparent structure faces severe ventilation and cooling challenges in summer - under direct sunlight, the greenhouse effect is easily formed by the accumulation of heat inside the shed. If not improved, it will greatly affect the dining and activity experience of guests.

Ruifeng Solution: Flexible Deployment, Intelligent Manufacturing of Comfortable 'Natural Wind'

In response to this special scenario, the design personnel of Ruifeng Environmental Protection Refrigeration went deep into the site to comprehensively analyze the climate characteristics of Dalian in summer, which are characterized by high humidity and less extreme heat but obvious stuffiness, the spatial characteristics of fully open greenhouses that require landscape views, and the actual needs of hotels for cost control of equipment investment and multifunctional utilization of the site. In the end, we abandoned the traditional fixed air conditioning system that required complex piping, damaged building structures, and high costs. Instead, we innovatively proposed a combination layout of "mobile centrifugal air coolers+mobile industrial grade large fans".

This design is mainly based on the following considerations:

1. Dealing with traffic uncertainty, mobile deployment shows its skills: the number of participants in outdoor activities in hotels has great uncertainty. Once traditional fixed equipment is installed, it cannot meet the flexible needs of activities of different scales. And our mobile fan is equipped with universal wheels at the bottom, truly realizing "plug and play, move as needed". When the venue is full, it is recommended to bring coolness and then move it back to the warehouse after closing, without occupying any space for daily flexible layout.

2. Empowered by physical principles, low-cost creation of "natural oxygen bars": Traditional compressor air conditioners often suffer from low efficiency and soaring energy consumption due to air loss in relatively open or semi open spaces. Our solution utilizes two major physical principles to achieve efficient cooling:

1) Evaporative heat absorption (air cooler): Mobile centrifugal air coolers utilize the natural physical phenomenon of "water evaporation absorbs heat". When hot air passes through a wet curtain soaked in water, the heat is absorbed and carried away by the moisture, thereby sending out cool, moist and fresh air. It can not only cool down by 5-12 ℃, but also maintain the freshness of the air, without the discomfort of traditional air conditioning.

2) Enhanced convection (industrial large fan): Industrial grade permanent magnet infinitely variable speed large fans with a diameter exceeding 1 meter produce a three-dimensional air supply effect similar to natural wind through slow and large-scale air agitation, accelerating the evaporation of sweat on the surface of the human body and bringing a cool feeling of 3-5 ℃ decrease in perceived temperature.

3.
