作为区域性的农产品集散地，该配送中心承担着农产品分拣、包装、暂存及转运等核心功能。其高效运转，直接关系到整个供应链的稳定与农产品的品质安全。然而，由于其主体为钢筋混凝土结构的大平层建筑，内部空间巨大，空气流通不畅，在炎热天气下，内部温度极易攀升，不仅影响作业人员的效率和健康，也加速了部分农产品的腐损。

Guangzhou Famous Special Agricultural Products Panyu Distribution Center is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou City. Guangzhou is located in the subtropical coastal area and belongs to the typical marine subtropical monsoon climate. Its characteristics are: high temperature and humidity throughout the year, long and hot and humid summer, average temperature between 28 ℃ -35 ℃, often accompanied by thunder and rainstorm; Winter is relatively short and mild. This high temperature and high humidity environment poses serious challenges to the freshness of agricultural products, storage cycles, and the comfort of workers.

As a regional agricultural product distribution center, this distribution center undertakes core functions such as sorting, packaging, temporary storage, and transportation of agricultural products. Its efficient operation is directly related to the stability of the entire supply chain and the quality and safety of agricultural products. However, due to the large flat structure of reinforced concrete as its main body, the internal space is huge and the air circulation is not smooth. In hot weather, the internal temperature is prone to rise, which not only affects the efficiency and health of workers, but also accelerates the decay of some agricultural products.

Ruifeng Solution and Technological Innovation

Faced with this challenge, the design team of Ruifeng Environmental Protection Refrigeration went deep into the site, comprehensively evaluated multiple factors such as geographical climate characteristics, building structure, usage functions, and customer budgets, and finally tailored a ventilation and cooling solution with "evaporative air cooler (environmental air conditioning) as the core".

We analyze that due to its special functions, the distribution center has frequent entry and exit of vehicles and personnel in daily operations. To ensure logistics efficiency, the entrances and exits are usually unable to be completely closed, forming a relatively open working environment. In such spaces, installing traditional expensive central air conditioning not only requires a huge one-time investment, but also results in astonishing energy consumption due to the easy loss of air conditioning. In contrast, evaporative air coolers not only have low initial investment, but also have extremely economical operating costs.

More importantly, the turnover environment of agricultural products mainly focuses on maintaining ventilation, preventing mold growth, and reducing the accumulation of ripening gases such as ethylene, without strict requirements for precise temperature control. This is precisely in line with the working principle of evaporative air coolers, which use water evaporation to absorb heat and achieve natural cooling of 3 ℃ -8 ℃, while continuously introducing a large amount of fresh air and strongly discharging indoor polluted and high-temperature gases. It can effectively improve indoor air quality and create a cool, ventilated, fresh and comfortable working environment.

In terms of installation method, in order to maximize the use of ground space and ensure smooth passage of forklifts, goods, and personnel, we innovatively adopt a hanging installation. This scheme is based on the physical principle of air convection, where hot air rises and cold air sinks. By hanging the air cooler at a high place, the processed cool and clean air can be evenly transported from top to bottom, creating a comfortable "air lake" effect indoors and effectively covering a large area of the work area. After the equipment is put into use, the indoor stuffiness is significantly eliminated, the air circulation speed is accelerated, and odors and dust are effectively discharged, creating a healthy and comfortable working environment for workers and indirectly improving work efficiency and safety.
