The factory is located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, which belongs to a typical subtropical monsoon climate with high temperatures and humidity throughout the year. The summer is long and humid, while the humidity remains high in autumn and winter. This climate environment poses a severe challenge to temperature and humidity control in production workshops. The client is an established enterprise specializing in the production of plastic and hardware products. Their factory building is an early constructed reinforced concrete structure with a floor height of only about 3.5 meters. There are many partitions inside the workshop, and the maximum area of a single room does not exceed 300 square meters. In addition, high heat production equipment such as injection molding machines, melting equipment, and die-casting machines operate intensively, not only continuously emitting a large amount of heat, but also plastic raw materials are sensitive to environmental temperature and humidity, which can easily lead to uneven cooling and dimensional deformation of products, seriously affecting production stability and product yield.
2、 Challenge and Requirements Analysis
After on-site investigation, the Ruifeng Engineering Technology Team has comprehensively considered the following key factors:
(1). Geographical climate: The Dongguan area experiences high temperatures and humidity throughout the year, and it is necessary to strengthen the dual functions of cooling and dehumidification;
(2). Factory structure: The old factory has good sealing, but the height of the floors and the spatial separation are complex, making it suitable to adopt an internal circulation airflow organization scheme to avoid loss of cooling capacity;
(3). High heat load: Plastic melting and metal processing equipment continue to generate heat, requiring high-power refrigeration equipment to be matched;
(4). Flexible zoning: Different workshops have significant differences in area and layout, requiring customized zoning air supply solutions.
3、 Solution
In response to the complex conditions mentioned above, the Ruifeng design team abandons the "one size fits all" model and innovatively adopts a precise solution of "matching differentiated models by region":
(1). For workshop groups with multiple partitions and small single room areas (≤ 100 ㎡), vertical pipeline type high-power energy-saving industrial air conditioning is used. Several small car rooms are connected through a professionally designed air duct system to achieve centralized cooling and dehumidification, efficient utilization of cooling capacity, and improvement of regional microcirculation;
(2). For relatively spacious workshops, vertical dual outlet axial flow high-power industrial air conditioners are installed. The air outlet is soft and uniform, with a wide coverage range, which can effectively avoid discomfort from direct blowing and meet the rapid cooling needs of large spaces.
